To block my friends

WeakAsIAm · 20/09/2018 19:11

I have sent various messages to several of my regular contact friends today some as early as 9am this morning.
I have yet to receive a reply off any.
So in protest I have blocked them all from everything messages WhatsApp you name it.
I did just put my phone on flight mode, but got very bored so resorted to blocking instead.
I am def not overreacting or BU am I ?

Sounds like you're having a tantrum. What's the plan when they start asking why?

userblablabla · 20/09/2018 19:13

Reverse?

ChipsAndKetchup · 20/09/2018 19:13

Does your mum know you're on the internet again?

Molokonono · 20/09/2018 19:13

I'm on my hols so wouldn't have replied.

Are you sure you aren't throwing the baby out with the bathwater?

OnASwissRoll · 20/09/2018 19:13
Hmm
Mrsfs · 20/09/2018 19:14

I would say an overreaction. They may just be busy and will get back to you when they can. How will you know if they reply if they are blocked? Plus, if they don't reply then I'm not sure what you are protesting as no one would have noticed...

Twotailed · 20/09/2018 19:14

Deffo a reverse

DaphneFanshaw · 20/09/2018 19:14
Hmm Really?
Singlenotsingle · 20/09/2018 19:14

So you've got no friends now?

Ixnayonthehombre · 20/09/2018 19:14

I often think take days to reply to friends. This has to be a reverse.

gamerchick · 20/09/2018 19:14

Has to be a reverse. Demanding and needy.

penisbeakers · 20/09/2018 19:15

Have i walked into an episode of Jeremy Kyle?

BillywilliamV · 20/09/2018 19:15

One of them is probably me then. If its important you will call

PawPawNoodle · 20/09/2018 19:15

Is that why it's been so windy today - the Earth changing its gravitational pull to start revolving around you instead?

YABU, get a grip. Not everyone is stuck to their devices, and they may well have responded to you but you'll never bloody know since you've blocked them!

Sparklesocks · 20/09/2018 19:16

Is this a reverse? I hope not, they’re always a pain.
But yes it is an overreaction - it was only the morning, not exactly weeks without a response. Are they working? Or looking after Dc?
And even if they’re not, having WhatsApp and social media doesn’t mean people are at your command 24/7, they can message you back at their own pace.

rosamacrose · 20/09/2018 19:17

That's quite enough internet for you today.
Bath and bed.
(And leave your phone switched off)

puzzledlady · 20/09/2018 19:17

What? Are you 12?

LagunaBubbles · 20/09/2018 19:18

Eh?

Cakecrumbsinmybra · 20/09/2018 19:19

😂😂

SmellyHead · 20/09/2018 19:19

What was so urgent about your messages that you've blocked people for not responding quickly enough?

Gerard170 · 20/09/2018 19:21

Um. You know, people have things like jobs and families and have to do things like work and travel and school runs and feeding everybody. They’re probably just busy, it’s been a day, not weeks.

WeakAsIAm · 20/09/2018 19:22

GrinGrin no not a reverse just a paddy, stupid bloody so called friends.
Was hoping nobody would respond on here either so I could blame my phone, some faulty connection or something.
Ahh well will unblock them all, after I have finished picking up all my spat dummies
🤪

OP, if this is normal for you, your friends are probably exhausted!

CloudCaptain · 20/09/2018 19:29

Do you also leave cryptic messages on Facebook and wait for everyone to ask you "what's wrong hun?".

WeakAsIAm · 20/09/2018 19:31

Cloud GrinGrin no, do you think I should ? Is the best way to get their attention ?????GrinGrinGrinWink
