Page 3 outdated?

I must admit I don’t really get the whole page 3 thing. It seems so random to me 🤷🏻‍♀️. I remember my two seeing page 3 in a paper and asking ‘why?’ It was a really difficult question to answer because I thought to myself I don’t know tbh. I assume it’s for sexual gratification, just seems ridiculous to me. Especially in this day and age. What do you think?

I agree, there are plenty of explicit magazines readily available, not to mention the internet. I'm not morally outraged by it, just don't see the point.

It’s outdated now. As snuggly says there are other ways of viewing this type of material. I personally don’t like page 3 to be honest.

Do any papers still do the page 3 stunna?

Even the Sun doesn't do it any more. There's often a girl in a bikini on page 3 (eg today it's a publicity shot of Brie Larson next to an article about the new Captain Marvel movie) but no bare boobs any more.

I went to school with a lass who did page 3, they did a five day strip tease to tits out on her 16th.
I can remember how bloody surreal it was everyone chatting about it in the co-op. She was a local celeb for it.
