Spotting 3 months after giving birth

I gave birth three months ago and I've had a couple of days of light bleeding last week and now this week too. It doesn't feel like a period and it's normal bright red blood. Does anyone know what this is or have had this?

It is probably a period. I had something similar and thats what HV said it was. I didnt have anymore bleeding for about 4 months after but periods back to normal now. I think your body just takes a while to get back to normal. Mention it to HV though.
