Looking at my phone while I'm asleep

hey i'd really like 2 know what people think about this one. I was asleep and always use my phone as an alarm so always put it beside my bed. when I woke up the other morning, couldn't find my phone. found it after I got up on the other side of the bed. new partner (2 mos) had taken it and plugged it into the charger. sounds ok so far but the thing is my side of the bed is seriously close to the wall and he isn not a small man he would have to squeeze down the side of the bed to get it so why was down there and he could not see it just passing the end of the bed. it made me feel creepy to think he took it from beside me when I was asleep and he never said anything "btw I charged your phone" and anyway he would not know it needed charging from the end of the bed. shall I say something or let it go? feeling creeped out by it.

Hmm I would leave my phone open one night with a timer to go off at random. This way if he does have the phone in his hand then he’ll be caught.

But if you have this thought you could always ask him why he’s going through your phone?

If he denies it but your guys telling you he is doing this then I would probably leave before the other weird stuff starts

Id let it go...
I always put my OH phone on charge cos I know he used it for his alarm and is terrible for charging it (always uses it until it gets to 1% then panics that it's going to die)
Also, new relationship, so you might scare him off by sounding a bit paranoid.
If he was attempting to go through your phone I would assume he would put it back where he found it as to not arise any suspicion

Download that programme that takes a picture of anyone trying to get into your phone.

Palegreenstars · 19/09/2018 21:33

Does he know your code?

Otherwise I wouldn’t be creeped out unless there was other stuff. Maybe he just noticed it and thought he was doing you a favour

NoProbLlama78 · 19/09/2018 21:33

Put a security code or pattern on your phone. You can set it so it kicks in after a while rather than straight away

Is your phone password protected? Why do u think he was charging it? Was it as a favour to you or do you think he had been using it and was trying to charge it and replace it before u woke up? What was his reaction when you woke up and noticed the phone had moved?

thanks you guys are so sensible think i'm a bit paranoid. and I know the best way is to be upfront and ask the question, haha but I am going to download that app Buntyll!

My dh always does this - I think it is a nice thing tbh - he looks if I or he has more charge and then plugs mine in as the charger is on his side of the bed. I have nothing to hide though he would be welcome to go through my phone if he wanted - he never would though.
