Not an AIBU but posting for traffic x

Hi ladies,

Started having odd sharp pains a few days ago followed by nausea and general fatigue. Have had an IUD for 6 months and didn’t even dawn on me that it could be pregnancy related. AFter looking into it found out it is possible and now totally freaking out. Not ready for another child.

Please take a look and give me your
Opinion. Very scared mumma x

The line has no colour from what I can see, so I say evap but test again with FMU

JennyOnAPlate · 19/09/2018 15:28

There's a very faint line. Test again first thing in the morning op.

Wurlysurly · 19/09/2018 15:34

I'd say that's a positive test.

Unluckyinlove2 · 19/09/2018 15:34

Thank you for your responses ladies. It’s the second test with faint line. There’s a week left till period but I’m worried that the pain could be related to coil x

I can see too a very faint line.

Dungeondragon15 · 19/09/2018 15:44

I think it is probably an evaporation line. I would repeat though. If the second one is positive you are at risk of an ectopic so I would see your GP straight away

Wurlysurly · 19/09/2018 16:01

If it's your second test with a faint line I'd say it's unlikely to be an Evap.

Maybe get yourself to the docs if you're experiencing pain as like was previously mentioned you're more at risk of an ectopic due to coil.

daffodillament · 19/09/2018 16:32

If the 1 line means 'Not Preg' I'd say that was fairly conclusive.

Dungeondragon15 · 19/09/2018 16:32

Yes, if you have already done two tests and both were positive go straight to your GP.

Go to your gp. I don't mean to be a pessimist but I fell pregnant after having the coil for over 4 years (extremely unusual) but unfortunately miscarried. It turned out my coil had moved ever so slightly. Either way it needs to be checked, whether it be because your pregnant or the fact it's causing dicomfort/pain!!
