Just realised that my DH can see my browsing history on his computer, and I can see his on my computer. Also he can see my phone browsing history too. Now he is saying, so what, we don't have any secrets. But its coming up to Christmas and I will be searching for all sorts of -shit- gifts for him and he will see it. He has said he rarely looks on his history so i shouldn't worry. I would, however like to change it. Does anyone know how I stop this happening. I am a complete technophobe, so don't give me anything difficult to do

You can browse in 'Incognito' mode so he can't see.

It doesn't sound like he will choose to spoil his Christmas surprises by looking at your history this year. Presumably this happens every year and isn't usually a problem.

Make sure you have google chrome (I find it to be the fastest anyway) and go 'incognito' - problem solved I have mine on incognito all the time now. I don't look at anything dodgy of course and I'm sure DP doesn't either, but I've had to buy surprise gifts, look up embarrassing medical problems etc so many times that I just left it that way!

Yeah, go incongnito! I always do this anyway so that my cookies aren’t tracked.

My dd's use my google account for youtube on their ipads, means i can see everything they google search
