That on two out of two journeys walking to pick dc up from a club a mile away I have been hassled by men on both journeys.

It's a joke!
Tonight's lovely person followed me on a bike for about half a mile at the back of me, i stood to one side thinking he wanted to get past several times only for him to say hi, the last time I stood to one side he.started to shout at me because he was trying to talk to me and demanding I talked to him. When I said I needed to go and had children to collect he shouted again demanding I talked to him again but when i ignored him he rode off in the other direction.

Ugh, yanbu. It's so entitled to hassle women on the street.

LostInShoebiz · 18/09/2018 22:14

YANBU classic male entitlement.

Savvylover211 · 18/09/2018 22:20

No of course YANBU!! Men think they are entitled to your attention and get annoyed when that is challenged.

Dorkdiary · 18/09/2018 22:22

Who are these men though. None of the men I know in real life are like this. One once witnessed this type of behaviour several times in a night and was horrified!

I had it the other day, a man started screaming at me in the street because I wouldn't stop and talk to him. It made me so uncomfortable and a bit shook up, it came out of nowhere.

WhenISnappedAndFarted · 18/09/2018 22:45

@Dorkdiary I also don't know any men like this in real life either and they would be horrified and step in if they saw half of what happens apart from it never happens in front of other men.

Wear wellies and a rainhat? (Other stuff as well, of course). But I was just thinking something to put them off. Yes, I know you shouldn't have to, but it might work. Bloody men!
