to buy this artwork, despite having no idea where I'd put it?

It's by a lady called Samantha French and I've been a huge fan of hers for years and am finally in a position to buy something, however as much as I admire her phenomenal talent - I'm not sure where I'd actually display the painting - as its water based I feel it'd need to be a bathroom (?) but it just wouldn't go in ours.

AIBU to just buy it anyway and figure it out later? or am i missing the point of buying something decorative.

Oh and please please share your favourite artists!

Hang it over the top of your stairs, it will make you smile every morning (assuming you have stairs)

If it's an original (not a print), it's available, you can afford it, you love it & you love the artist you would regret not buying it.

You’ll not regret buying art you love. How big is it? It’s so blue and fresh it’ll be like having another window in the room it ends up in - lovely!

I don’t think bathrooms are for everything water based, they always end up looking like beach cottages! Water is the key to all life, it’s a beautiful image and I’d put it somewhere really prominent, not a bathroom. I agree with pp I’d put at top of stairs if, like mine, you look at a tall blank wall as you go down every morning.

If it makes you feel happy you should buy it and then work out where to have it
