Following on from listsandbudgets lovely thread about her daughter auditioning and gaining a character part in the school play,
can we give a shout out here for those small victories that leave us parents punching the air.
Yesterday my son nonchalantly announced he had been the quickest in the class to look up a word in the dictionary after putting his hand up and volunteering to do so.
This is a boy who has never puts his hand up or volunteers as he is so nervous, and I think it's just that he really likes, and feels very comfortable with his new teacher this year.
This was a massive moment for me when he told me. Please share the joy in your child's small victories
