New Kitten Advice

Hi all

We've just got our new kitten, she's lovely and settling well I think. I noticed yesterday after bringing her home that she has some fur missing on the back of her hind legs? Should I worry about this? Is it the mother over grooming her?

Highly likely to be over grooming. Keep an eye on it and it should start to grow back soon.

Where did she come from? Rescue will have been home checked? Otherwise could be fleas etc.

Wolfiefan · 17/09/2018 16:18

Health not home checked!

Sorry no advice but do you have a pic

SammieOK · 17/09/2018 16:20

This is quite normal and I wouldn't worry, but keep an eye on it and maybe ask the vets if you get worried

WelshRobyn · 17/09/2018 16:54

I haven't managed to get a pic yet but have a vets appointment tomorrow, I'll ask them then.

So it didn’t come from a rescue and hasn’t been health checked? Could be chewing. Could be fleas or mange or ringworm.

WelshRobyn · 17/09/2018 21:20

No it wasn't a rescue.

Another reason not to buy from someone who breeds moggies for money.
It may not be the age, sex or state of health you were hoping for.
Hope it wasn’t off Scumtree. Angry

No it wasn't from gumtree, cat is a pedigree and TICA registered.
