Breastfeeding

Does anyone else hate how their boobs look whilst breast feeding? This is my second time breastfeeding and I'm miserable with how they look, they are getting me down so much. They look totally different from the first time I fed. I have small boobs naturally (b cup), they are now about a D and they are a horrible shape, I don't have a lot of body weight on my upper half so my boobs are only big where milk ducts are. Will they return to normal afterwards?

Thanks for replies in advance ☺️

YANBU I hate how they look too! You have BF before - did they go back to normal afterwards?!

Fraula · 15/09/2018 23:26

Mine took about 6months after breastfeeding to go back to 'normal', but that was after feeding twins. When I stopped they were deflated for a while before they got fuller (fat stores?) but were ok afterwards.

On my 3rd time of breastfeeding and each time i have fed for 2 years. I don't even remember what ny breasts looked like before tbh.

it doesn't really matte, though, does it? I mean ultimately our breasts are really only there for feeding anyway and life goes on.

Yup. BF both kids, DS 10 months and no sign of stopping. My boobs look awful. Very droopy. I have no decent bras as figure there's little point in buying them until I'm done as I know the size may change. But it gets me down, especially when I see my cleavage in photos.

Still, I wouldn't change anything as I've loved breastfeeding. I just miss my pre BF boobs, call me vain but I was proud of how they looked! Obvs still proud but for different reasons. I don't think you are BU at all to feel this way.

Mine went from B/C to FF. It was ridiculous. None of my tops or dresses fit me and I looked really out of proportion. They did go back down to normal as I fed less and less and then stopped.

Mine went back down (which I was sad about) and my nipples went back to normal colour and size (which I was not sad about as they were enormous and dark!).

welshcake82 · 16/09/2018 08:41

Mine have shrunk after breastfeeding from a d cup to a b. I'm quite sad about it.
Is that it now? Or will they slowly grow back?
Noticed that other ladies are saying theirs grew.

I jared thecway they looked and felt. Lok3 giant, veiny plastic, boobs. Sensitive and heavy. They are back to normal now.

my nipples went back to normal colour and size

Oh god I hope this happens, even if they stay less firm and are saggier 🎉

Whatswrongwithme1 · 16/09/2018 09:32

I'm still BF ing and only recently happier with breasts. They were the main thing that made me feel unhappy with my body shape- felt so big and droopy. Noting looked good on. I felt matronly. And nipples constantly out!

I highly recommend going for a fitting and getting some nice, non nursing bras. Or even just one. I was a totally different size to what I thought (much smaller back, much larger cup). It's transformative, I instantly felt better (clothes on!) and more like normal/old self. It's worth the money. And tbh, I wear it all the time now, just whip a boob our over the top!!!

YANBU
I was a 12 D before pregnancy and am now after 3.5 years feeding 2 babies, I am a G cup. I hate them. They are heavy big fatty lumps and they make it hard to exercise, hard to have good posture and they make me look big all over (and frumpy). I love breastfeeding but hate what it has done to my boobs. Depending on what they're like once i wean, I will seriously consider a reduction and/or lift.

Would love to know how long after childbirth it took everyone’s vagina to go back to normal too...asking for a friend 😂 ...

That’s what I was afraid of!
