I need help with my I Phone!!!

Just posting here for traffic. I have lost all the contacts on my I Phone 6 overnight and I asked DH for help and he said "Did you have them backed up on your i Cloud?" I did snap at him a bit and replied " I don't even know if I have a fucking i Cloud" now he won't help me. How do I get them back?

No idea but you can go to Apple online for a chat text support or call them.

Have you tried resetting it?

Go to settings and click your name at the top of the screen. You can then click on iCloud if it has been set up.

Apple can get it back for you.

If you do have iCloud set up to back up your contacts then clicking on iCloud should show something like the attached with the slider next to 'Contacts' on the right and green.

When i look on my phone the contacts button is green to say my contacts are sync'd with i cloud but when i go into my i cloud there are no contacts!

Is there a contact thief at Apple and can I get him / her arrested !!!

I think I will have to re add all my contacts and I suppose if i don't know their number they aren't important enough to be in there anyway.

I am a bit pissed off with stuff and technology today.

Can I just ask, did your contacts disappear with the latest Apple update? I've heard a few people saying that their contacts are gone and it's down to them updating. They just plugged their phones into iTunes (best advice is to regularly backup your iphone using iTunes on a computer as well as iCloud just in case) and restored it from a backup and all the contacts came back.

Hmm, have you tried toggling the contacts on and off in the iCloud settings @crazydoglady6867? ie move the toggle to the left (no longer green) and then back to the right. It should give an option to "merge" contacts with the iCloud.

This can help give it a kick up the arse basically so that it redownloads them from the iCloud.

It was after an update yes!

I smiled at the DH and he has helped me a bit, by telling me that my contact was set to default with outlook not I cloud so he has added all my contacts again and set my phone right. He loves me really even if I do swear at him
