Favourite summer destination

Hi everyone! I do have a separate post about the Capri Island in Italy, but trying to get as many views as possible on our next summer holiday! What are your favourite summer destinations? No budget, no children, but I'd rather not go long haul, and in Europe

We'd like to have day trips, varied activities but also we love to sunbathe/bathe.

We loved Sicily but I'd go early or late on in summer as I think August is unbearably hot.

Corsica. Amazing scenery and amazing food, we loved every second apart from the hairy driving.
