To do my garden at 7pm?

I desperately need to strim the patch of grass on my front garden. It’s a small private terrace with no young families and it will take around 5 to 10 mins max. Don’t finish work til gone 6 every day this week and have no one to do it for me. Thought I’d ask AIBU before I get shouted at by neighbours for breaking some unknown rule

Presumably you don't work every single day so just do it on your day off.

My cut off would be 9. 7 is fine!

I have a toddler who would be disturbed by strimmer noise. It's fine at 7.

Sunset is at 7:30 anyway so it'll be done before it goes dark. I’m working every day at the minute as I’ve got two businesses on the go, it’s crazy work. I would just hire a gardener but my strimmer was fairly expensive so don’t want to waste it! I just know some people won’t like it because it can be really loud if they’re trying to unwind from their day. Thank you for your thoughts!

YANBU. I do often about 6 or 7pm. Unless you take 2 hours, you are fine. Mine takes about 15 min and no one has an issue, because why would they

I had a moan on here recently about a leaf blower at 9pm - strimming at 7pm I probably wouldn't even register. It's evening, go for it.
