Has anyone else noticed this advert? Surely RSC know how to spell? Thought I would post this and report myself so MNHQ can check it.

Perhaps Carol just comes out at Christmas?

knittedwoollenmouse · 13/09/2018 09:01

😂

CaptainHammer · 13/09/2018 09:04

Oops!

ShatnersWig · 13/09/2018 09:06

Bloody hell. As someone who works in the industry, it's surprising how often little things slip though in the middle of a lot of text (like a programme) because often the collating and proofing is done in a hurry but to get your own NAME wrong? That's pretty bad.

CrochetBelle · 13/09/2018 09:07

You'd assume something like that was a standardised logo that was just pasted onto new adverts.

Holidayfromreal · 13/09/2018 09:21

I don't get it?

ByeGermsByeWorries · 13/09/2018 09:28

That is a glaringly obvious mistake Blush

ElainaElephant · 13/09/2018 09:29

Considering they have it spelled correctly elsewhere on the same thing, it's a bit unforgiveable!

Magicpaintbrush · 13/09/2018 09:31

Holidayfromreal - they have spelled Shakespeare as Shakespere

NonaGrey · 13/09/2018 09:32

Holiday “Shakespeare” is spelt without the a.

Will did spell his own name in a variety of different ways but it seems unlikely that they are making a point...

Tartle · 13/09/2018 09:33

Well Shakespeare spelt his name something like 4 different ways in the four signatures we have so maybe they were going for authentic Grin

MissusGeneHunt · 13/09/2018 09:34

They're not making a point I doubt - that's a crap proofreading error!!!

OP - let them know!! Maybe MN will now be seen in a good light via the press!

TroysMammy · 13/09/2018 09:35

I'd take great delight by contacting them and point out their error.

KlutzyDraconequus · 13/09/2018 09:36

You know when a kid draws a picture and they write on it,
"Mummy and Me"
But they start out really big and by the time they get to 'Me' the writing is really small cause they're out of room?

Bet that's what happened, ran out of room and just thought sod it, no one will notice..

NoLeslie · 13/09/2018 10:03

Klutzy I am sure you are right about tha

I even went so far as to check the spelling of Carol because I thought you were saying that was the problem. Blush
