Country roads

When DS1 was a baby I discovered my MIL was out walking with him in the buggy on country roads with no footpaths. I told her I was not happy with it and a few weeks later caught her doing it again because I came home from work early that day. I very clearly stated that I did not think it was safe and I did not want them to do it again. Which they promised not to. So I thought that it was done. Now 3 years on I've discovered they've been letting DS1 (4) & DS2 (2) walk along the roads with them 😡 I really am not happy, I don't think this is safe for a young child No matter how careful you are you can't control the drivers. AIBU to be very angry?!

You’re not being unreasonable at all. I’d tell her you’re incredibly disappointed about her behaviour and feel you can’t trust her as she’s deliberately gone against your wishes. She needs to prove herself before she looks after the kids again
