bought a pair ofg imline skates this am- brought them home excited thinking I'd have a go at skating with the kids- give them a good laugh!!
found liner missing
brought them back-
suggested by the manager that I had removed the liner!!! that although I didn't look like a thief ( digs the hole deeper) that this was what it was like in retail!!
He condescended to exchange but they didn't have the same size, i picked another skate which was 50p cheaper and he refused to refund thison my credit card and sent me off with a credit note- despite the fact I argued that they had sold faulty goods and they were breaking the sale of goods act.
i feel humiliated angry and completely exhausted after this, as feel i have been called a liar and in fact inferred a thief??
I did wonder what he thought I had to gain by making more than 1 trip to his fabulous establishment, any ideas anyone?
