horrible weather here, can't be bothered to leave the office at lunch time and one of my colleagues just messaged me to ask me if i wanted a coffee from costas as he is out and about!

We have leftover chicken pie in the fridge and I'm working from home, so, naturally, I have to have pie for lunch

Woke up late. Got in car. Tyre has puncture. Bundled children onto busy bus in the rain. Got bus to work, late, soggy, miserable but the coffee van was running late so he was outside the office! Had a lovely hot sugary, caffienated mocha.

I never think our work is truly appreciated in school especially when we put ourselves out to run parents evenings etc but today there was a bottle of proscecco for every member of staff with a little card to say thanks for staying late and making open evening a massive success
