I bought an item of ebay but it never arrived. I contacted the seller who said rm had attempted to deliver it and couldnt on the 20th of august. I had no note left at my address, nothing, Ive checked the tracking and it says its been returned to sender! I know I should have tried to sort this sooner but ive had alot going on. Am I entitled to my money back?

Yes open a case the seller has to refund within 7 days of the case opened or ebay will force a refund from the sellers account

And as a seller on ebay and amazon the royal mail don't always leave cards for the buyer it's infuriating but they will have to refund in full as the tracking shows that you haven't received it no matter who's to blame

That's strange, I've just had the exact same experience! Seller said there was an attempted delivery and a note had been left ( I stay in a tiny village in a cottage on its own so there is no way it had been sent to anyone else) He had apparently been "tracking it" and he refused to issue a refund so I contacted Ebay and they gave me a refund and are investigating the seller, just open a case with them, nightmare tho isn't it, it was a gift for my 8 year old and she had bought with her own money, and trying to explain it was horrible, hope you get it sorted.

I’d say this is on you actually. If you’ve not tried to collect it in three weeks then it will get returned to sender. If you still want the item I think you’ll have to pay another lot of postage as it’s not fair that the seller should have to pay two lots of postage when it was you who didn’t collect it.

Mummybear80 · 11/09/2018 08:14

Sorry, didn't see the three week bit! Mine was within the 7 days so not sure but still try and contact eBay and see what they say

Cronesquerness · 11/09/2018 08:18

Open a case with ebay for item not received, as you had no RM card say you've been waiting this long for it?

Creeper8 · 11/09/2018 10:24

I had no card through. In all honestly ive had so much on I forgot to open a case as I would have done it sooner. Even if its my “fault” surely I should be entitled to a refund?

Sellers should put a return address on the parcel. That way they will get their item back quicker although Im not sure if they have to pay more.
