AIBU to panic that DD ate this?

Made mini Yorkshires today in the usual pan and served to DD.

I only noticed when I popped the uneaten ones out of the pan when clearing up that the silver (aluminium?) from the pan was ALL over the bottom of the puds. I’ve never seen it happen before and the pan doesn’t even look like the coating has peeled off. ??

Obviously I’ve chucked the pan but I’m so worried that DD has eaten two of them!

Would you be worried?

It unduly.

CherryPavlova · 09/09/2018 21:47

Not unduly

Magicmonster · 09/09/2018 21:47

I wouldn’t be overly worried. If she were to become v sick in next 24 hours I would take her to doctors and mention it, but otherwise I wouldn’t give it too much headspace. Reckon she’ll be absolutely fine

thaegumathteth · 09/09/2018 21:48

No not really

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 09/09/2018 21:48

No.

We had roasties with added minerals today too. It happens. (And I haven’t chucked the pan!!)

She won't be the first or the last soon wouldn't worry. But wouldn't make a habit of it.

Aquamarine1029 · 09/09/2018 21:48

Don't worry a bit. It will pass right through her. Call the gp if you need reassurance, but unless she ate loads of it she'll be fine.

I doubt cooking pans would be made from anything toxic.

BoundByBriars · 09/09/2018 22:13

Thanks all. I feel such an idiot for not noticing.

She actually came down with a tummy bug earlier today so I wouldn’t be able to separate symptoms but hopefully it will make the journey through swifter!
