A visit to Byrons - gobsmacked!

Took my son to Byron’s today as he returns to uni next week.
This chap comes in with his 2 children and proceeds to allow his son to ride his bike around the restaurant never once told him to stop and his daughter climbed on the chair and ran along it!

No one said anything - I wanted to but my son told me not to he was worried it would escalate (I can be a little hot headed at times Angry)

I mentioned it to the waiting staff after he left and apparently when he was told not to do it before he complained - now they are too scared to say anything - this man should have been banned because now it felt like he brings his children on purpose to antagonise all - he barely looked up from his phone as the children carried on with their poor behaviour.

AIBU to think this type of behaviour should never be acceptable?!

Never been to Byron’s but how big is it? You can ride a bike in there? It sounds funny to me I think I would have laughed!

This is hilarious. Thanks OP. Next time take your hoover and start hoovering.

No wonder Byron’s going down. People want to eat out in a nice atmosphere spending their hard earned money on something that resembles a treat, not a “casual dining” crèche where diners just stare at their phones, est with their fingers and anything goes in terms of child behaviour. Never frequent these sorts of crap holes.
