Tonight DH and I put DS, 16 months, to bed and went downstairs as normal to eat dinner, relax etc. For the most part our neighbours are fine, but have a tendency to be loud. The man especially we can hear shouting and banging around a lot. They have 3 DS’s, the youngest is about 2 months younger than our DS.
tonight was especially loud (due to England match I think) and we could hear them banging and yelling and swearing all evening. At about 11, it started grinding on us a little so DH went round and asked them if they wouldn’t mind just trying to keep it down a little as we were worried they were going to wake DS up. The woman answered, DH said she was very clearly drunk and slurring words, holding the youngest baby and apologised, but I heard the man yell ‘that’s bullshit’ and continue to yell it. DH came home, said they were all steaming drunk and there was no point starting a confrontation and to leave it for now. The man has continued swearing and banging and only recently stopped. Should I be worried that they were both clearly drunk and in charge of a baby or mind my own business?
