Met a guy and we spoke for 3 weeks before we met as he was on holiday.
He text all his holiday and sent me photos of his holiday.
We had our first date and he bought the first lot of drinks and I bought the second and he insisted on paying for the meal.
I told him I had to leave at 10 pm to get the last train.
He said stay later and il get you a taxi home but il get in the taxi to make sure you get home safe..(he lives 45 mins in opposite direction,so I was thinking he would think he was coming in)
He kept buying me drinks even tho I said no.
I insisted and went for the train.
Second date was good we went to the beach.
We organised to go out for third date in my home town..at the time I was staying with my dad as I had a flood..I told him this and then he seemed to not text as much.
Day of our date arrived and I text asking what he fancied doing ..6 hours it took to reply (he normally replied quick even at work) he said shall we go for a meal? And I said great sounds good....what time?
He never replied again.
Opinions?
I assumed because he knew he wasn't getting sex,he couldn't be bothered?

He's a fuckboy.

NoFuckingRoomOnMyBroom · 08/09/2018 16:46

Unfortunately it would seem so yes.
On the plus side, at least you know early on that he's a knob...

MyRelationshipIsWeird · 08/09/2018 16:46

yeah, shame you wasted 2 other dates on him but at least he showed his true colours fairly quickly! What a knob. Lucky escape for you!

sarah459 · 08/09/2018 16:54

I had a feeling he was, otherwise he would have not been so pushy.

Sorry you’ve had this!! I had similar recently, I don’t know why people need to be such dicks Angry but at least you found out now before it went further!

sarah459 · 08/09/2018 18:04

I didn't really like him anyway
Creeps everywhere

It's difficult to tell based on that, been he's definitely rude and pushy.

You'll meet someone nicer.

This bit is the fuckboy bit. Anyone who pushes when you've set out your boundaries is a dick, particularly on the first date. Delete his number and forget him.

Aintgottimetobleed · 08/09/2018 18:12

A lucky escape

Rebecca36 · 08/09/2018 18:40

He may have found someone else of course. You didn't really know the guy so hopefully no harm done. You played it all quite well by the sound of it. Plenty more pebbles on the beach!
