Roblox.
Driving me fucking up the wall at the moment!!!
DD1, (Y5), DD2, (Y9), DS2, (Y7) and now DS1, (Reception)!
The constant sounds, (I tell them to turn it down but 2 minutes later it's always on full blast, never wear their headphones) and just it's all they're on, DD2 is starting GCSE lessons this year and she's bloody getting distracted and seriously they're all on it for hours!!!
DS1 has been introduced by DS2 and knows how to control and it and he's bloody 4 years old!!!
If I try to take it off the 3 youngest they always complain they're bored and they have tantrums and I have 6 kids!!!
DD1 is the worst and her entire class plays if and they always play as a big group and feels left out like she's the only person not playing.
Anyone else heard of this irritating game?!?!?!

My youngest was obsessed by it for months. At least she had he decency to wear headphones though. If I ever looked at the screen I knew what it would be. She has moved on now, it's all YouTube 🙄

Hope it's soon...! DD2 balances so much of her time I don't know how she keeps on top of everything including spending over 3 hours a night on that silly game!

Sort out the sound. Keep turning it down and warn to cut access if Tey carry on.

chitterchitter3322 · 06/09/2018 23:57

Keep trying but cutting Wi-Fi is hard since DD3 and DS3 are in Year 12/11 and most their work is based online

Gah. Just lost The Game for the third time this evening!

busybarbara · 07/09/2018 00:41

Our kids have rubber holders/skins for their tablets due to them dropping them, etc, and one of the side benefits is you can easily put sellotape over the speakers without them noticing which reduces the maximum volume!

Alternatively, put sellotape over the speakers and say if it's removed, the device is taken away for a certain amount of time.

TheSmallAssassin · 07/09/2018 00:45

BTW - you can also block individual devices from the wifi on your router. On ours I can even block my son's laptop during certain times of the day.

JustJoinedRightNow · 07/09/2018 05:40

The Small Assassin, I’ve lost The Game for the second time in under a week. Damn

SneakyGremlins · 07/09/2018 05:48

Roblox is still a thing?

I played it when I was about 7! Almost 21 now.

GlossyGlossy · 07/09/2018 05:50

Oh ffs Assassin I hadn't lost for weeks and weeks. Damn you! Envy

DS doesn't even play ROBLOX half the time he's watching other players play it on YouTube.

prettycunning · 07/09/2018 06:02

Assassin me too! Op I sympathise with you but having tried it I see why they play it is hundreds of different games so always something for everyone and its great they get to socialise with mates too. Meep City tho that back ground music is horrible.

chitterchitter3322 · 07/09/2018 07:38

Grr Meep City.. 4yo D'S never gets off. That's the worst one for me!
