Return the car or accept compensation?

I've had a car delivered today from an online car seller (so I've never seen it in real life) which was advertised as having Sat Nav.

It arrives unvaleted. Its not filthy but it clearly is not showroom perfect. It also doesn't have the advertised Sat Nav. Many phone calls- all pleasant with the seller who advise they have spoken to the manufacturer and it can't be retrofitted. They've offered: £200, pay £150 for a sat nav, full tank of fuel and a valet. OR they can take the car back.
AiBU to take the offer just to save all the pissing about of swapping it, waiting for other car to be delivered, reuniting old car etc etc. It drives really nice and is otherwise perfect. But it's not what I thought I was buying.

Lesson learnt by the way of buying online Blush

I'd be careful if they seem dodgy. Can you take it in for a full service to check that everything is as it's supposed to be? I think I'd take the compensation if it was just the sat nav but I'd worry about the state of the car.
I don't drive though, so I don't know how this all works.

It had a full service and mot in July. Its in really good condition but you usually get a valet and it got over looked

I'd take the offer - built in car sat navs are usually rubbish and don't get up to date maps unless pay out extra in my experience. We have sat nav in our car and always just use ours phones!

If it's otherwise in good order (including the log book up to date etc) then sit it out and wait for them to make good on their promise.

They wont want you to leave bad reviews and it will save you the hassle of finding another car. If there's even a scratch that wasn't there before I'd get my money back.

Cars are such a necessity but such a pita. I'm, hopefully, on the tail end of consecutive car cluster fucks and have little tolerance for pissing around with cars, dealers and the promises they all seem to make. Three strikes and there out attitude with them now.

Send the car back. What else are they BSing about

I would take the offer. You're going to want to replace the sat nav every few years anyway, so I would never get a built in one.

We just got a new Garmin and it's brilliant - it has all of the big stores in it's database, so when we dropped DS off at uni last weekend it was easy to run out and find the few things we had forgotten or couldn't have foreseen him needing.
