Willing to be told ibu here! New property, will only take a gas oven, so no chance of switching to electric.
I'm terrified of it.
It was installed yesterday, by a proper engineer.
It's still smelling of gas, it has a weird crackling sound, and genuinely scares me.
I know I sound stupid and apparently I'll grow to love it (my nans words) has anyone else had a gas oven that took a while to get used to?
Please no horror stories, I've got two young children and I'm hiding in the lounge waiting for the food to cook because I've convinced myself something bad will happen
