I am in the process of buying a house in France and found out yesterday whilst trying to get a phone line installed that the address I have been given is in fact a different property. I do appreciate things are different over there but surely even in a small hamlet each house should have number. I have no concerns that I am being conned but just want to find the fucking address. My DP thinks I am over reacting. Does anyone have an experience of this and how I can find the correct address.
