Small children chewing bubble gum

DD is nearly 5 and is starting to get interested in bubble gum thanks to watching YouTube videos. I dont think she will be able to blow bubbles yet and am not planning on racing out and buying any. Just curious as to what age people think its ok to give kids bubble gum as an occasional treat. How long should I hold off?!

Mine's desperate to try bubblegum, probably because I keep saying no! She's 7. Will be interested to see what age others allow it.

My 6yo has recently mentioned it but has never had it. I don’t like it and not quite sure why. Makes me uncomfortable when kids have ‘chewy.’

I'm very tempted, my daughter is 10, purely because it might stop her biting her nails.
