I set the washing machine for a service wash last night with a box of Dr Beckerman deep clean. This morning I asked dh to put the laundry on while I was out. He did and we were hanging it out when I noticed the machine had a sort of film of white powder all over it. I think I probably didn’t press ‘start’ enough times last night and the deep clean stuff was still in there when the normal wash went on. I’ve put it back in to wash and extra rinse, but I’m stressed: will our clothes have some nasty stuff in them that’ll irritate the kids’ skin? Will rinsing them be enough? Am I being ridiculous? Any advice or even just admissions of equal silliness will be greatly appreciated
