Just that really. O realise it depends on tax, pension etc. But my husband just got a new job he doesn't have student loans and we were trying to plan our budget but not sure how much he would actually take home at the end of the month.

Any experience would be great. TIA

According to:
www.moneysavingexpert.com/tax-calculator/
That comes out as £1245 but that doesn't include pension deductions.

Sugarhunnyicedtea · 03/09/2018 17:42

On a standard tax code it will be around £1200.

dusking · 03/09/2018 17:42

You can input your salary, hours and tax code into this calculator and it will let you know how much you will get after tax

I’ll estimate it to be roughly about £1100 take home per month I think x

Blimey, you don't get answers / service this quick from anywhere else..... and not 3 times over either!

My dp is on just over 17k, works in the NHS comes out with about 1200 most months or just under. He has some salary sacrifice tho.

HerondaleDucks · 03/09/2018 18:00

About 1200

cheesemumma · 03/09/2018 20:18

Thanks Everyone.

We did already use the calculators. They said around 1245, but that seemed high to me so was just looking for anyone with experience.

We are assuming around £1100. So thanks for confirmation!

I take home £1150 that’s with nhs pension contributions and car parking taken out.
