My DH and I are remortgaging a house that I have just inherited to buy a farm. We have a gas engineering business and we also have 2 properties that were redeveloping. My dh has suggested that we put my property into a company name. I feel I need to take advise to see if this is in my best interests. Can anyone offer any advice?

Do you already own a house or is the inherited house going to be your primary residence?

The house is in the process now of being put into mine or the company's name. It will then be rented out and we will move to the farm.

What are you concerned about? Is it the tax implications (ask an accountant), some illegal ownership implications (ask a solicitor with the relevant experience) or some connected issue of feeling (ask a counsellor?)
