As the title says, had horrendous spd/ pelvic girdle pain in both pregnancies. After 2nd advised by dr not to have any more as could end up permanently paralyzed. Still in constant pain 2 and 3/4 yrs after giving birth to youngest. Anyone else? Dr keeps fobbing it off as it'll go away and now just says nothing they can do. Is this normal? Love some advice if anyone can help.

How awful for you! I had PGP with my 1st towards the end of my pregnancy, I managed through, but with my 2nd it was horrendous at 6 months I couldn't even put my left foot down without horrific pain. I went to see a Bowens Technique therapist. After one session I could walk again. She explained very clearly what had happened and exercises to do and I've been fine ever since. Worth a shot, it cost £35 for an hour. For what it's worth, the doctors were rubbish and just kept saying see a physio and use crutches.

Good luck, I hope you get it sorted.
