Although Lily Allen obviously has some status and power from her money and fame, I am reluctant to give her too much of a slating. Her story has presumably been very useful to a bunch of men who have profited from newspaper sales and others who have used this to increase the validity of narratives that show prostitution to be problem free fun for all. How convenient!

Calling women girls, in general, is misogynist. ie ('that group of girls over there' when referring to a group of 30 year old women) Calling men "girls" because being a girl is lesser is misogynist.

That post was specifically saying this person was acting like a spoilt child. Female children are girls or at least they used to before Instagram and tumbler. Not the same.

I actually quite her music, which is what I find so frustrating. The lyrics to a lot of the songs on her Sheezus album are very pro-woman, and her love songs would do a good job of describing a normal, strong relationship.

Then she goes and opens her mouth and says something that makes it obvious she is a total tithead. It’s almost like self-sabotage.

I find it hard to believe any paid sex worker give full informed consent. However I am told there are some so maybe more information is needed. Lily Alan needs to stop over sharing now she has kids though.

Of course there are sex workers who give full informed consent! Many work independently or are escorts who pay a small commission to an agency. Don't run away with the idea they are all druggies under the influence of ruthless pimps - many are of course but plenty are not and you'd never guess they were prostitutes.

Lily Allen does need to keep private things private if not for her own sake but for that of her children. What they don't know won't hurt them.
Why on earth she would pay another woman to be with her I don't know unless she was lonely, scared and just wanted company. Not something to make public though.
