Unfortunately, due to the late cold weather our small tree only produced three apples this year. DS is just two. All summer he has patiently watched the apples on the tree in our garden grow big and turn red. Virtually every time we have stepped outside he has asked to see them and has asked to pick them. He can tell anyone who asks that he has to wait for them to be ready. A couple of days ago we gently tried them but they were still firmly attached to the tree.
I could have cheerfully throttled DH this afternoon when he came in from the garden and announced "Those apples are ready for eating so I picked them"!
AiBU to make him reattach them to the tree in some way so that DS can pick them himself?
