Just coming for a lighthearted grumble really
We live in a row of victorian terraces, and our neighbour on one side is the end of the row. He (from what we can gather) has speakers set up in his living room at the front of the house but likes to play his music so loud he can hear it in his garden at the back.
He plays his music at a volume that isnt deafening, but its at a level where we could sing along if we wanted to, and we struggle to hear our TV unless we turn that up pretty loud (which I dont like to do at I dont want to disturb our neighbour in the other side)
Its pretty consistent volume (not quiet one minute then loud the next) and probably only happens 3 times a week, and the majority of the time its only between 5-7 pm before he heads to the pub. Sometimes he comes back from the pub at 1am and puts it on, he has probably done that once a month for the 3 years we have lived here. We've given in and been round to ask him to turn it down about 3 times a year, and only when he's been playing it at 1am. Otherwise we try and accept it as part and parcel of living in terraced housing.
However lately he's found himself a woman, so the music turns on but he doesnt then bugger off to the pub and it plays from about 5-10 until they nip off to bed for a shag
Anyway, AIBU to go round and tell him its too loud even though its only half 8 on a Friday night or am I just being grumpy?
Happily to be told AIBU btw, its more of a minor irritance than some of the nightmare neighbours I read about on here. Hope everyone's having a good Friday!
