As I've been thinking about the op and her husband came to check how things were and thread deleted

Was the husband suicidal? If so they would have deleted it.

I think it was all over FB so the OP had it deleted. The MNHQ message said she'd requested the deletion. He was found, but hadn't come home, from what I could tell.

OP asked for it to be deleted as he had been in touch (possibly via the police, I'm not clear in that point) and was on his way home.

Phew, hope it’s a happy ending for the OP.

Gawd, what can that mean?? You don't think he was abducted by aliens, and they came back for his wife, and deleted all mention of them existing.

No she was understandably concerned that the thread was too identifying so requested deletion after her DH had been in touch saying he was safe.
