Where, when, how? What has been done about it?

I would be furious too, hope the bite didn't break the skin?

colditz · 06/06/2007 16:53

YANBU!

14!

(I NEARLY DID POUNCE,. BUT 14!)

LilRedWG · 06/06/2007 16:53

14 months or years? If years, he should have all of his teeth removed as punishment!

Whoooosh · 06/06/2007 16:55

How old is your son though? If' he's 14 then I guess all fair and square.

Only kidding-he is obviously much younger-I would want to smack the little sh*ts teeth in myslef.

stleger · 06/06/2007 16:57

Poor ds, is he OK?

2shoes · 06/06/2007 17:01

ds is ok It is me that was angry ds is 15 but the other kid is bigger.
Just can't understand boys that age biting.

talcy0 · 06/06/2007 17:03

Thats awful!!!

OrmIrian · 06/06/2007 17:04

Not good. But better than pulling a knife on him or punching him in the face perhaps.

Very strange behaviour though for a 14yr old. Is your DS badly hurt?

NoodleStroodle · 06/06/2007 17:05

Isn't it quite dangerous too...is he up to date with his shots?

belgo · 06/06/2007 17:06

you should seek medical advice for a human bite.

2shoes · 06/06/2007 17:08

he bit him through his shirt so no skin contact. i am feeling very old and at a loss.

OP posts:
belgo · 06/06/2007 17:11

did he break the skin?

kittypants · 06/06/2007 17:17

why were they fighting?

fireflyfairy2 · 06/06/2007 17:19

What did your ds do to him?

I'd be pissed off with them both for fighting.

kerrymum why were you 'pounded on'?missed thread

OrmIrian · 06/06/2007 17:27

kerrymum -if I remember rightly the reason you got 'pounded' was the name you called the child in the heat of the moment and the implication that the health risks were greater because the biter was an immigrant.

2shoes · 06/06/2007 17:29

there were 2 of them and one grabbed ds. ds said he did get to hit one of them(and no i didn't tell him off.
the skin isn't broken.
KerryMum i think it is because human bites are the worst for germs. but if my child was a syoung as yours I would have got it checked out(is he ok now)

OP posts:
Twiglett · 06/06/2007 17:29

kerrymum I think you're being a bit disingenuous there .. I didn't pound you at all but the pasting was for your GP (I thought) who told you outright that as the child was an 'immigrant' he was more likely to have HIV / TB (even though he'd been in the country for 3 years and was only 4)

OP posts:
2shoes · 06/06/2007 17:32

kerrymum your doctor was racist

OP posts:
OrmIrian · 06/06/2007 17:32

I think it all got a bit too heated too quickly for anyone to offer advice kerrymum. And the racist thing did rather sideline the main debate.
