To be getting stressed about this constant nausea?

Evening all,

Sorry, I seem to only post on here when it’s to do with illness! (I’m somewhat of a germophobe!)

Anyway, my 5 year old spent all of Friday night throwing up. Has been OK since though other than a bit nervous to eat. Did not have any diarrhoea or fever or anything.

But since the weekend I’ve been pretty much constantly nauseous. No vomiting, almost like morning sickness (not pregnant, plus my husband is feeling similar) in that it’s in my throat and acidy and gets better when I eat.

Why I’m stressing is we go away in a couple of days and I’m concerned this is going to just get worse and ruin our holiday.

Any clues what it could be? I didn’t know maybe if we have Norovirus or Campylobacter or something but mild, or maybe 5yo felt this way a few days before the night of vows but didn’t let on? Just want to be able to know what to expect if any of you have had similar?

Don't know if you have the same or if this will be of help but I have had nausea with dizziness, mild headache and heartburny indigestion sort of thing since Friday pm. Bit of pain in tummy. No D&V. Food helps. DH has had only dizziness. On holiday abroad also since yesterday. Felt terrible travelling by car across continent all day but today day three much better. Eating normally. Still something lingering mildly but only in the background. So don't despair. It will hopefully go. If you cancel holiday you could regret it if you suddenly improve! Worth stocking up on remedies to take. Keep eating small amounts.

Hope all is ok for your holiday!
