Judges of Celebrity Masterchef

I decided to watch this on catch-up due to sleep issues. Also, when I was a student in London and working in a bar, I once served Carol Decker a Gin and Tonik and a dish of pistachios.

My god, who are these fat, buldgey-eyed judges whom seem to masticulate akin to my poor deceased horse!

And they chomp on the cutlery. The last time I watched this it was Jean Michele Roux (whatever) and that wonderful woman chef Monica Gelato (sp?)

AIBU to think who are these cutlery chomping idiots presenting what used to be a good program?

I thought the word was masticate. I shall google.

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 29/08/2018 08:25

I have googled. It’s masticate! Smile

No OP your are right. It's crap.

Whats fun about getting so stressed at making a meal. Food is supposed to be calming and fun.

I c an;t watch it, it make me feel all anxious and on edge.

stillnotTheDoctor · 29/08/2018 08:57

I did find masticulate in the urban dictionary where I don't think it means what the op thinks it means and other people have used it. I don't think the op just made it up.

I really miss Michel and Monica. They were very demanding of the professional competitors and the programme was interesting. It was about high end cooking, not gurning.

longwayoff · 29/08/2018 09:03

Masticulate?

CuriousaboutSamphire · 29/08/2018 09:06

Masticulate? Oh yes, John and Greg, those naughty megalodons Grin

This is one of the most amusing threads I’ve read in 10 years on here!

LostInShoebiz · 29/08/2018 09:30

Urgh! Cannot stand those cooking shows where plates of food are demanded. Down with this sort of thing!
