To be really excited?!

I started an online business in January making and selling jewellery. I also sell in 2 local shops and at Craft Fairs and Artisan Markets.

Yesterday I got confirmation that I can have a shop in the local Indoor Market, and I'm so excited it's ridiculous! I'll be selling my jewellery and a range of gifty things.

I've been talking about it all day, planning what furniture I'm taking in to display my stock (I bought some in preparation too!) deciding what colours to paint it all, how I'm going to arrange it...

I'm driving my family mad I think, but I can't seem to help it :D

AIBU and should shut up now, or is this reasonable??

I had to wait 2 months for a shop to come free - and I spent most of that researching wholesalers and deciding what to buy :D

Now it's all ordered and on the way to me - unpacking it is going to be SO exciting, but I'll have to be strict about not keeping too much for myself (it's not going to be easy!)

I'm planning to open on the 8th September, the family might have buried me under the patio before then though... :D

Brilliant! Some market traders in my town have been going several decades! They love it! It's hard work, but they wouldn't ever do anything else.

Congratulations. I hope it's good timing with the run up to Christmas. I helped a friend on a stall last year and noticed a jewellery stall which also sold scarves doing a roaring trade. It seemed that some people were out and feeling the cold and a scarf is an easy impulse purchase. Plus they're easy to display on the top rail without taking space. Are you allowed to sell them OP, or are there already scarf stalls there?

I am a member of a craft association, and one lady does lovely scarves, so I might ask her if I can stock a few on a commission basis. I should have a few coming as a free gift from one of my wholesalers too!

I'm pretty sure there isn't a scarf stall, but I will have a last check round before I ask my lady :)
