Most of the times we never find out what happened in the end with the aibu. Maybe mumsnet should send a reminder email after 1 week, 1 month then 3 months.

It will also be better for seeing which strategies do and don’t work in terms of suggestions.

I agree it would be interesting! Some people do update way too much and for far too long... Softzilla for example

CharltonLido73 · 26/08/2018 09:12

I agree. I've not been using this site for long, but I've discovered how frustrating it can be when you've followed a long and involved thread and then the OP just disappears, never to return and update.

PerverseConverse · 26/08/2018 10:05

You'll always get posters saying that the OP doesn't owe us anything and that this is real life and not a drama series etc but I think it's rude to engage strangers asking for advice then just waltz off into the sunset. I always come back and thank people and try to wrap up the thread. Some people invest a lot of time and experience or expert opinion (their choice of course) and to have that disregarded is rude in my opinion. But I know others disagree. Always makes me think the high drama ones are bullshit.

I liked the Softzilla updates.
