BA cancel flights home

Does anyone have any contacts at BA who can help us with our predicament. They have in error cancelled our return flights from La Manga Spain next Tuesday so we are presently going to be homeless and flightless. Despite verbally confirming the flights were booked last Sunday they have cancelled all three. BA call centre have been hopeless and the situation is now worrying. So if anyone has connections with BA that can help please advise.

What is their reason for cancelling them, and why haven't they rebooked you on alternative flights?

You say "verbally confirmed the flights were booked"....thisi sounds a bit odd. Did you not get written confirmation (either email, or by checking BA's website/app)? Were return flights actually booked? The full story may help us to help you.

Do you not have email confirmation of the booking? Did you book directly with BA or through a third party? It sounds very odd to only have verbal confirmation of a booking.

What do you mean by verbally confirmed, have you not even got an email from them? Sounds a bit odd, are you sure it was BA you actually booked with?

Flyertalk is brilliant for advice but you’ll need to post the whole story, there’s a lot missing from your post so from what you’ve provided it’s impossible to advise. If you even want advice that is, I seriously doubt anyone is going to give contact details for people they know that work at BA... Good luck getting your flights sorted though.

Our BA Flight from LA to home has been cancelled next week on Wednesday. It's to do with an engine issue with the Dream Liners. We called and spoke with them to rebook (website had crashed). They confirmed verbally that changes have been made, booking is showing on the website, but we still don't have an email confirming. This was done 2 days ago. I think their systems are in melt down with all of the cancellations. We found the UK number far more useful than the US one.
