Would you give to your baby?

Posting here for traffic, lol.
Ds is 3 months, very early yesterday morning I defrosted some of my milk for him. Is it safe to use today? Looks a bit weird but I think that's normal, doesn't smell bad or anything. Didn't end up needing it but didn't wanna waste. It's been kept in fridge.

I wouldn’t risk giving my baby anything that I thought might be unsafe or unpleasant. Better to err on the side of caution imo.

@BigBlueBubble

Of course, I just can't find very much on the internet with how long it lasts after being defrosted. Confused

Guidelines are within 24 hours, so should be fine x

Never mind.. just saw very early morning yesterday.. so no x

I think I’ve read somewhere that it has to be used within 24 hours once defrosted.

24 hours is recommended for defrosted milk. You're just outside so I would use some discretion on smell/appearance etc. Probably better not to risk if you're unsure though (though I hate wasting expressed milk!).

Check the Kelly mom website for info, they're pretty good with all things breastmilk?

Does it look like the fat has separated? Used to happen to mine just being in the fridge, was perfectly safe though.

If your worried it's probably not worth it, as you will keep doubting yourself after giving it. Put it in your babies bath water, it's great for their skin.
