Birthday Stuff

It is my Birthday coming up and I am a bit disheartened by it all.

Normally I don't do anything special for my Birthday we might go Bowling as a Family and have a cheap meal out etc but the rest of my family have big affairs for their birthdays.

Now this year i've had a rough time, I've been seriously ill this year and had a tough time so I said I fancied doing something a bit special.

Que it getting close and no one is willing to make time to do stuff and my mum has even suggested i alter my plans (going to a well known shopping place) for a short 2 hours so they can do their own thing.

I just wanted to have a really special day and i haven't asked for any gifts etc.

I might be being unreasonable I just don't even know any more.

Just say “I am going to go shopping at x, anyone wants to join me is welcome” go and enjoy your day!

If all the rest of the family have big affairs on their birthday, why don't you?

I would love to @Sirzy but then I would be going on my own with DS who is 10 months... i'm not sure he is the best shopping companion 

@LordNibbler I am just not a big birthday person... I genuinely get a lot more excitement giving someone else a special day with amazing gifts etc than i do from receiving. However I know this is a rarity!
