Naked photo advice please!!

Ok, so this sort of thing has never happened to me before. I got a random naked arse photo text from an unknown number who I don't know but knew my name!! For context, I'm a pianist and the message read 'there are no bum notes from you wishiwasa'. Bit freaked at them having my name and number when i don't know who they are (can see the back of their head in the photo but doesn't ring any bells). Besides the message was sent in the middle of the day so presumably not a drunken prank....

Try putting the phone number into fb search to see if it brings anyone up. Google it. Maybe look it up on WhatsApp for an associated profile with photo?

Sounds more like a stupid pun joke than anything dodgy. I would just ignore

Try putting the number in pipl.com or add it to your contacts and see if there is a photo/name in WhatsApp..

Is your name, number and profession online anywhere?

Thanks, I'll try looking it up. I don't think it is intended to be malicious or anything, just a bit bemused. My number isn't online or advertised although i do have business cards.

Sorry, took longer to search as my 2yo decided to bash 6 eggs on the floor ...
Tried all the search methods and no joy. I play for a choir tonight so I'll see if anyone at rehearsal knows anything. If I find out who it is i wonder who will end up the most embarrassed, me or him?!

Have you added the number on to what's app? There might be a profile photo

Reverse search the image in case they've done it to other people? Gross.

I'm confused, why don't you just text back "Haha, who's this?"

Google whose number is this UK and who called me UK and it brings up sites where you can search for free who called you ..

Stand at the back of the choir so you can survey all backs of heads.

Could it be someone you had a fling with years ago and have since deleted their number?

I've got a 'name' by threatening to go to the police (like they'd do anything over something so silly), but it's no help as it's a name I don't know anyone by. Checked the choir's name members hair styles but none match.... I'm now deeply suspicious of the near by neighbours.... Who knows,could be anyone. Think I'm too embarrassed to investigate further, although could block my number and see who answers. Thank you everyone for your advice. I know it seems pathetic to many but I had a stalker in the past (when I was 21 and 4 stone lighter!!!) so was a little freaked out !

Op, if you have the number can you dial 141 in front of it, call it, put it on loud speaker and get a friend to call pretending to do some kind of market research survey while you listen in...(you need the friend to do it as if they know your name and phone number, they will know your voice too)..

Ha ha ha ha, so having a "name", I asked how he had my number etc and had a message back to say he'd got them from a newspaper, he doesn't know me etc. Funny as I don't advertise in any newspaper and it makes me sound like an escort. Surely someone who thought it was funny at the time, (although must know me somehow) and quickly backpedaling. Silly arse!!!!

Gave the choir a good laugh though!
