So I've generated my first mm code as want to take the kids today- my question is, is it 2 for 1 on all tickets ie can I buy two get two free, or is it only buy one get one free? Thanks!

The code only works once so one ticket bought one ticket free

I will look at getting dh to buy the cheap travel insurance so we're sorted in future but think it takes 48h to activate so if you're sure you wouldn't mind that would be much appreciated pm me if easier. Thanks again

Yes it's just one. We got my DH one too so we can go as a family. Moneysavingexpert have a great tip. If you buy a cheap travel insurance for a one day trip in England (I think it was about £1.70) then you are still entitled to meerkat movies for a year. Have a look.

I've just looked on the app and it says "Buy 2 tickets and get your cheapest free" which suggests that if 4 of you go, you can only use the 2 for 1 for 2 of the group ie you buy 3 tickets and get 1 free.

But I think I'd ask at the cinema in case they let you use it twice and pay for 2 tickets and get another 2 free.

I was on Moneysavingexpert last night which is where I saw the tip about buying 1 day insurance through compare the market. I did it and it came through pretty much instantly.

Just gone on the full terms and conditions (teacher here - desperately trying to avoid maths planning!)

You can only have one Meerkat Movies membership activated against your account at any one time (so open up separate accounts of you want to go as a 2 parent family with at least 2 children).

You can claim one code per week.

Each code can only be used once.

The code is valid for one screening on either Tuesday or Wednesday.

Unused codes expire on the Thursday after issue and can't be used after they've expired (so you couldn't go as a group of 4 and use this week's code for 2 and last week's code for the other 2).
