If anyone saw my thread yesterday they will know I was idiotically treating nuts as screws and wondering why it wasn't working. Thanks to some very helpful and kind mnetters I have secured two of the bolts but the other two are not cooperating.
With one, I can see the hole so I know it's in the right place, but the bolt is simply not tightening and won't go all the way in. With the other, the nut seems to have slipped down too far meaning the hole is incomplete and the bolt won't therefore go in. I've tried to remove the nut but it just goes round and round.
Any suggestions very gratefully received.
