To stay in bed?

I’m in bed currently, bedroom is off living room and the door is wide open. Toddler coming in and out to see me plus I can see hear what she’s doing. I child proofed the room when I got her up.

Today is a day I know I’m going to struggle with her. I’m so tired as it is. I can currently see her crouched infront of the printer and I don’t really care about her scanning empty pages right now.

Not at all, you know she’s safe.
Stay in bed for a bit longer.
Is there any particular reason why you feel like this today?

Nope Grin you can see her and hear her.
Are you okay? Thanks

She's probably having a great time messing about doing whatever she wants. She can't get at anything dangerous, and you're right nearby. Do what you need to do for yourself 💕 could you move over to the sofa with your duvet in a bit? You could snuggle together and watch a DVD.

No I'm in bed browsing mn and amazon with a coffee

Dd 3 is playing in her room eating belvita and periodically pops in to tell me what she is doing

I'm staying put as long as I can

I think that’s fine. You can see and hear her and she’s able to come and get you if she wants anything. I think it’s good she is able to play by herself like that - my dd would come and pull me out of bed / sit on my head / prise open my eyes etc till I got up!

You are definitely not shit!

You stay in bed, you obviously need the rest. You can see her, she's not coming to any harm. I think the fact you have said you are in bed is what is making you feel guilty, if you were lying on the sofa, I bet it wouldn't enter your head that you were doing anything wrong. Don't be so hard on yourself, relax and enjoy.
