To cancel Amazon prime

repeatedly posting small parcels through next doors letterbox, despite ours being clearly visible and numbered. Our front door has our door number above it in large numerals in the glass.
Even had a parcel pushed through open window at front of the house which ripped voile curtains.
Anyone else had poor service like this?

No. Cancel it.

I've never had it. What I do know is that they despatch stuff as soon as it's ready, so in most cases you're not getting any advantage from paying for the 'advanced' delivery.

DD once had a text saying her parcel had been delivered to occupant. They'd given it to the dog.!
My problem with it was that quite a lot of my items did not come the next day, or in some cases for a couple of days. I cancelled.

My Amazon delivery service has been brilliant. They always follow our request to leave in the doorway if we aren't in and have never had an issue.

Have you spoken to them about it or provided any additional instructions (if you think it would help)?

We’re cancelling when our contract ends. The thing that annoys me the most is that half the time the stuff doesn’t come the next day anyway.

LakieLady · 20/08/2018 17:48

I'm boycotting Amazon because of the minimal amount of tax they pay on the huge amount of money they make in the UK, so I'd encourage everyone to cancel Prime!

PattiStanger · 20/08/2018 17:49

As there is no compulsion to have Amazon Prime I'm puzzled by why you need to ask internet strangers. It's entirely up to you Confused

CakeNinja · 20/08/2018 22:46

You don’t need permission, cancel if you want!
I’m cancelling when my contract is up for the reason that prime no longer means next day. I might as well go out and get what I want from real shops.
I also don’t watch tv so whatever films or programmes are on there are totally irrelevant to me, and I have Spotify so don’t need their music.
Dp will probably let his contract roll over because he’s even worse than me for cancelling anything so if push comes to shove we will still have it that way.

I'd find out who manages your local amazon deliveries- ie Royal Mail, DPD etc as it sounds like your issue is with them, not Amazon?

However I'm also cancelling my prime account as things never seem to come the next day anyway?
