Curious to know if trans people mind being classed in with gay, lesbian & bi people. As I see it, trans people know there is something "wrong" with them, ie that they are in the wrong body, whereas gay/lesbian/bi are (hopefully) fine as they are but in a statistical minority. Is this a daft question? It is genuine but I am prepared to hear I am being naïve/ill-informed

I'm just as I'll informed as you I think but I would imagine there sex and sexuality is completely separate.

if a man turned into a woman and fancied men they would be straight.

or if a man turned into a woman and liked woman lesbian.

Thing is, men can't "turn into women". People can't change sex, and a lesbian is a female homosexual. So a heterosexual male who transitions isn't a lesbian. They may have a sexual relationship with a woman but it's not a homosexual one.

For a long time it's become increasingly apparent that bracketing the T with the LGB was a crap idea - for lesbians at least. The TRA are essentially an MRA group - misogynistic and lesbophobic. That's what the Get the L Out protesters at London Pride were about.

It seems to have come about in that the LGB groups/charities, like Stonewall, had made all the gains they were going to make. Gay marriage was the pinnacle. So they needed a new cause, a new fund raising and influence peddling focus. And that's transactivism.

Never mind that the two groups are in direct opposition - lesbians are being asked to accommodate penis for the sake of some screwed up idea of equal sexual opportunities for males.
